Just like the unknown at the bottom of the ocean, the darkness of my work studio always generates discoveries. Maintaining the ability to learn and preserve everything that is not known, I use the analog overhead projector as an investigative instrument in this research. A companion on my journey as a classroom teacher for decades, in the Deep Sea series, the projector is the light that balances my poetics and my interest in science.
