Photography-Painting and the Spirit of a Time
Invited by fellow artist-owners of Galeria Plano-A, Adriana Amaral and Gustavo Marcelo Rodrigues Dare, I participated up to October 8, 2016 in this collective in Ribeirão Preto.
The title refers to Laura González Flores’ statement that “photography and painting are, deep down, the same thing. (…) Beyond their superficial differences and their apparent independence, both disciplines belong to a larger paradigm, of an ideological-cultural type, which not only encompasses them, but also determines their characteristics.”
