The Exhibitions Program run by the Ribeirão Preto Municipal Culture Secretariat is organized annually by the Pedro Manuel-Gismond Art Museum of Ribeirão Preto, known by its local acronym MARP.
The Exhibitions Program chooses projects from all over Brazil in all areas of the visual arts for two collective (or simultaneous individual) exhibitions to be held at the MARP.
Artists aged at least 18 may apply for the Exhibitions Program free of charge even if they have never held an individual exhibition. Applications will also be accepted from institutions, producers and curators.
The first edition of the Exhibitions Program was held in 2003 and the Selection Committees have included the following art critics and artists: Albano Afonso, Carla Zaccagnini, Carlos Eduardo Riccioppo, Carmen Aranha, Carolina Soares, Cauê Alves, Débora Bolsoni, Felipe Chaimovich, Fernando Oliva, Philipe F.
